ARTIST STATEMENT | BIO

My work is sexy chaos, a collision of domestic nostalgia, pop-culture rhythm, and raw psychological noise. These maximalist, mixed-media landscapes function as both a shield and a confession.

I don't use flowers for decoration; I use them for reclamation. By layering vintage textile patterns with aggressive ink and gestural drawing, I mirror the human impulse to curate a "pretty" surface while a messy reality threatens to break the veneer.

It is a process of building up and burying. I lean into sensory overload, high saturation, and vibrating lines to mimic the way memory is perpetually overwritten. Borrowing titles from pop and soul lyrics, I provide a narrative heartbeat to the visual noise.

This is a search for harmony within the over-stimulated. Navigate the chaos; find the quietude buried in the debris.
